Wanda Petty Elmore

On December 23, 2021, Wanda Jane passed away at her home peacefully at age 52. Wanda was loved by many family members and tons of friends. Wanda was mother. She always provided love for her children. Wanda also had a deeper love when she became a “Ni Ni”. She would proudly boast about her grandchildren. Wanda has always put her faith in the Lord and loved her family. Some of her favorite things in life was watching “her boys” the San Francisco 49ers play football, fishing and collecting angels that gave her peace in life.

Wanda is preceded in death by her momma, Martha Petty. She leaves behind her daughter, Melissa Thompson; her son, Josh (Heaven) Elmore; four grandchildren, Katelin, Caleb, Kalix, and Jace; her daddy, Wayne Petty; sister, Joyce (Joe) Slais; niece, Brittany (Jeff) Thompson; nephew, Brad (Maryanne) Slais; and many cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 am. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12:00 pm with a burial to follow. All services will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven, MS
