W.E. Gene Conway

W.E. Gene, 80, went home on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, March 5, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS) with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Gene was born on October 17, 1939 in Ripley, Tennessee. He was part of the Shriners. Gene was once a Deputy Sheriff in Desoto, County. He was a business owner alongside his wife. Gene’s greatest achievements in his life were his 4 children. He will be greatly missed for the unconditional love he gave, the smile that lit up a room, and the hugs that gave comfort and strength.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Song O. Conway; children, Gina (Larry) Chamberlin, Jason A. “Tony (Rebecca) Conway, Michael E. (Susan) Conway, and Jeanette (Russ) Cox; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Cole, Elaine, Courtney; great-grandchildren, Brody, Oliver, Sebastian, Andy, Cillian; sister, Pat Rochelle; brother, Barnie Conway; and puppy Cookie.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Barnie and Eva Conway; and grandson, Cody.
