Virginia “Ginger” Middleton

November 29, 1945 — October 23, 2019

Virginia “Ginger” Middleton, 76, passed away in Olive Branch, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held on October 28, 2019 starting at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church (785 Church Rd W, Southaven, MS 38671). Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ginger was well known for her warm heart and loving spirit. Independent thinking and self-confidence were synonymous with Ginger’s personality. Ginger and her husband of 45 years, Fred, showed their children how wonderful a marriage could be. They were a kind couple who deeply loved and respected one another. She enjoyed traveling and was always up for new experiences. Ginger was always smiling and happiest when sharing time with friends and family. An avid reader of all types of books, she particularly enjoyed a good mystery. She was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Southaven, MS. She graduated from Memphis State University with a degree in Sociology.

She is survived by her children, Andrew (Amelia) Middleton, and Kara Lyn Middleton; grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Middleton; brother, Wayne Farris; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ginger is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Middleton; parents, Leonard and Dorothy Farris, brother-in –law, James (Patricia) Middleton; and sister-in-law, Anita Middleton.
