Virginia “Ginger” Jean Peck Harrington

Virginia “Ginger” Jean Peck Harrington, age 64, passed away on December 2, 2021, in Dallas, GA. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Funeral will be on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10:30 am, followed by burial. All services will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.

Ms. Harrington was born on December 16,1956 in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoyed scrapbooking and reading, had a love for singing with a beautiful voice, and loved her family. She attended West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA. She also worked as a team lead with Hershey for 28 years.

Virginia was a part of the Order of the Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine, and Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by: her children, Christy (Rodrigo) Sanchez of GA, and Lisa (David) Barker of TN; grandchildren, Jayden and Layne Barker of TN, Morgan, Christian, Austin, and Jordan Sanchez, Sandro Oliver, all of GA; siblings, Bill (Terry) Peck of TN, Tom (Melanie) Peck of MS, and Margaret (Bob) Morrison of MS; her mother, Marilyn Peck of MS; step mother, Audrey Peck, several nieces and nephews, and her best friend of 37 years, Shari Leitch (Bill) of MS.

She is predeceased by her father, William Peck; grandparents, William and Virginia Peck, and Albert Kunnen and Jeanette Spaninga; former husband, John Harrington; and special friend, R.D. Lyles.
