Velma Juanita Craddock, age 82, of Memphis, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was born in Helena, AR on May 13, 1940 to the late Russell and Daisy (Black) Ford.
Velma was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN where she helped organize game nights, and Operation Shoebox for Christmas, participated in the women’s ministry, and was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, puzzles, and Western movies, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Velma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James T. Craddock, whom she married on September 12, 1958.
Velma will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Barbara Williams, Doris Craddock, Jammie Williams, and Jan LeBlanc; grandchildren Brandy Williams, Amy Boyd, Kristie Williams, Josh Duncan, Ashley Craddock, Jason Craddock, Steven Saxton, Andrew Saxton, Jessica Williams, and Chance Williams; great-grandchildren Josh Jalufka Jr., Christian Craddock, Chance Boyd, Jordan Silva, Logan Williams, Mackenzie Duncan, Landon Howell, Carlos Guzman, Gerardo Guzman, Jose Guzman, James Craddock, and Dresdan Drakos; brothers Russell Ford, Jr., Rueben Ford, JD Ford, and Joe Ford, and sisters Elizabeth “Betsy” Ford, Lanell Clifton, and Barbara Ford.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00 am through 1:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 7002 US Hwy 70 Bartlett, TN 38133.
