Vanetta P. Sawyer, affectionately known as "Ladybug," passed away from her home on January 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle. Born on October 20, 1940, in Manchester, New Hampshire, she was a pillar of strength and devotion throughout her life, profoundly impacting all who knew her.

Vanetta was a very strong woman, characterized by her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She dedicated her life to being there for everyone, earning the respect and admiration of all who crossed her path. Her contributions as a mother and grandmother were her proudest accomplishments, fostering deep connections with her children: Valerie (Jay) Coscia and Brian (Connie) Campbell, as well as her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly enjoying time outdoors, working in her yard, and hiking at Arkabutla Lake.

In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by five sisters and two brothers, along with a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her for the love and wisdom she shared throughout her life.

Vanetta was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert E. Sawyer, her loving daughter, Lynda Young, and her parents, Kenneth and Almeta Aldrich. A Godly lady, she embraced her faith and loved the Lord, which guided her actions and brought comfort to those around her.
