, 1965 in Memphis, TN.
Wayne had a passionate love for his family and friends. Wayne had a great sense of humor and was a jokester till the very end.
Wayne loved to meet and visit with people, whether he was fishing, hunting, even shopping for hours at his local vapor store; it seemed like Wayne knew someone from everywhere. He never met a stranger no matter where he was.
Wayne earned his Eagle Scout at the age of 15 years old followed by three palms. He worked in the plastic manufacturing industry until he fulfilled his dream of becoming an over the road truck driver.
The most important thing other than his children for Wayne was his wife, Janice Lacy. His love for her was out of a story book; a love that flowed over without end..
Wayne will be remembered by his loving wife of twelve years Janis Lacy and his daughter Amanda Lacy (Mekeil) of Walls, MS, his son Jimmie Lacy (Ahsley) of Southaven, MS his stepdaughters Victoria Bittorie (Noah) of Inwood, WV, Rebecca Huckabee (Nathan) Cave City, AR, Elizabeth Chandler of Plano, TX, DeDrea Baynham of Southaven, MS, Dusty Bradford (Ariana) of Southaven, MS, his sister Sheri Lacy Duesterbeck (Jim) of Byhalia, MS and 10 grandchildren. Along with other family members who will miss him terribly.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents: Travis Wayne Lacy and Glenda Lacy; his
Grandparents: Glen A. Foy and Jimmie Foy, Sarah Ethel Paul Renfro and Donald Lacy; and his Uncle Douglas Lacy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14th from 12pm to 1pm at Southaven First United Methodist Church, at 723 Star Landing Rd.
