Timothy Scott Cockrell, 55, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee at Baptist East. The memorial service was at Oliver Creek Church of Christ (8313 Hwy 70 Bartlet, TN), Monday, December 09, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Tim was born on February 24, 1964 in Jackson, Tennessee. He was happily married to his wife Carolisa for 27 years. They met on August 28, 1992 with their anniversary on January 10, 2020. Tim was an inventor. He was an owner operator for about 27 years. Tim was so proud about his 18 wheelers that he had bought, he loved them so much. He was a huge NASCAR fan. His favorite type of music was classic rock. Most people will remember Tim as the jokester, he always had a joke up his sleeve. He loved being able to help anyone. Tim was the type of person that would take his shirt off his back to help someone. Most of all Tim loved his family and his dogs. He will truly be missed by those closest to him.
Tim is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Carolisa Cockrell; daughter, Chelsean Cockrell; stepson, Stephen McKinney; grandchild, Christian Fussell; mother Carolyn (Cloyis) Coomer; brother, Mark(Beth) Cockrell; and sister Jennifer (Kevin) Redd.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Donald Russell Cockrell.
