Timothy Lee Fischer, fondly known as "Took", passed away on May 30, 2024, leaving a legacy that will forever be cherished. He was born on February 11, 1982, in Memphis, TN, but lived his entire life in Southaven, MS surrounded by the love of his family.
Timothy was a dedicated quality control inspector for Smith & Nephew and a proud graduate of Northwest Community College with an Associate's degree in Applied Business. His commitment to excellence extended beyond his career as he proudly served in the United States Marine Corp, one of his proudest accomplishments.
Those who knew Timothy remember him for his great sense of humor, quick wit, and somewhat charismatic personality. He brought joy to those around him with his funny antics and genuine love for life. One memorable story that captures Timothy's spirit is when he learned how to change the brakes on a car from his Dad only to accidentally put the brake pads on backwards when helping out his girlfriend—showing both his determination to learn and his endearing clumsiness.
In addition to his professional achievements and warm personality, Timothy had a variety of hobbies and interests that showcased his creativity and passion. He enjoyed spending time on computers, self taught himself to do many tasks, expressing himself through drawing, and cheering on Ole Miss football games.
Timothy will be deeply missed by his surviving family members: father James Fischer, Sr., brothers James Fischer, Jr. (Crystal), Michael Fischer, and Matthew Fischer. He is now reunited in heaven with his beloved mother Donna Joyce (White) Fischer, maternal grandparents Don and Virginia Peterson, as well as paternal grandparents Frank and Betty Fischer.
As we mourn the loss of Timothy Lee Fischer, we also celebrate the joy and laughter he brought into our lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved deeply and will be remembered fondly.
