Olive Branch, MS

Thomas Wesley Phillips, affectionately known as "Tommy", passed away on April 16, 2024. Born on July 26, 1991, in Memphis, TN, Tommy's lively spirit has left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

During his time on this earth, Tommy wore many hats, working diligently as a security officer and forklift operator at Camco Roofing. His dedication to his work was evident, and he found pride in his achievements, especially when he first took on the role of a security officer.

Tommy had a knack for spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. A fun-loving personality with a deep love for the outdoors, he had a unique ability to keep those around him laughing with his kind and loving nature. His passion for fixing things extended beyond his professional life; he enjoyed spending time outdoors, working on cars, and indulging in the thrill of 4-wheeling. Music was also a significant part of Tommy's life; he cherished all genres that could uplift his spirits.

One of the fondest memories cherished by those who knew Tommy well was his playful habit as a young boy. He would playfully wrap up household items as Christmas presents, teasing his family members who eagerly awaited Christmas to retrieve their belongings - an endearing trait that showcased his mischievous yet lovable nature.

On April 22, 2024 at 10:00 am, friends and family gather at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven to bid farewell to Tommy during a Graveside Service. The echo of their shared memories serves as a testament to the impact he had on everyone around him.

Although Tommy may have left this world physically, his spirit lives on through the hearts of his surviving loved ones. He is survived by his parents Douglas and Donna (Lemmons) Sherard, brother Steven Phillips whom he always looked up to, grandmother Ann (Stranix) Lemmons, great-grandmother Kay Stranix, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whose lives have been enriched by his presence.

Tommy is preceded in death by his grandfather Tommy Dillard Lemmons,

In celebrating Tommy's life today, we acknowledge the joy he brought into our lives and the lasting impressions of love and kindness that will continue to guide us through each passing day. May his spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts as we fondly remember the remarkable soul that was Thomas Wesley Phillips.
