Sketa “Shelba” Willis,
69, was born September 14, 1947 in Vardaman, MS and passed away June 15, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto. She was a devoted Baptist, enjoyed Bible study, and loved her Bible study group. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and cosmetologist. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tommy Willis of Southaven; one son, Hal Willis of Southaven; one daughter, Brooke Sexton of Southaven; one brother, Billy Burt Hamilton and his wife, Doris of Vardaman; six sisters, Ruth Cole of Bruce, MS, Carolyn Henson of Bartlett, TN, Jean Sanderson and her husband, Joe of Oak Grove, MO, Gloria Gilless and her husband, Al of Southaven, Norma Gwen Pace and her husband, Larry of Marrietta, GA, and June Edington and her husband, Grover of Vardaman; and four grandchildren, Ali Sexton, Jack Willis, Cole Willis, and Hallie Willis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Hugh Gaston Hamilton; one brother, Hugh Anderson Hamilton; one sister, Peggy Sue Hamilton; and two brothers-in-law, Sonny Henson and Norman Cole. The memorial service will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 5 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Service:
