Shirley Cook Griffin was born June 16, 1946, in Memphis, TN, to John Kenneth Cook & Ruth Lorraine Cook. She was a believer of the Baptist-Christian faith. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends & shopping for clothes but being a loving mother & Nana to her son and grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.

She leaves behind to celebrate her life 1 son: Eddie Griffin (Nanci Hughes), 6 Grandchildren; Ashlee Oliver (Greg), Hannah Griffin (Brandon Chalk), Brent Smith, Megan Tamboli (Jeremy), Auston Devolpi, Spencer Hughes, 6 Great grandchildren; Hunter Oliver, Autumn Oliver, Leah Oliver, Fenley Chalk, Jeremiah Tamboli, Skylar Hughes, 2 Siblings; Jeri-Dee Fisher, Kenny & Mandy Cook.

She is Predeceased by her parents, John Kenneth Cook & Ruth Lorraine Cook.
