Russell Scott Alberts of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away at age 38 on May 19, 2022. He was the husband of Laura (Davison) Alberts. The couple resided in Southaven, MS for 10 years.
Born on June 25, 1983, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of David and Karen Alberts. Russell graduated from Christian Brothers University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Federal Express as a Project Engineer for over a decade. He was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and avid volunteer with the organization. Russell and Laura were married April 20, 2008, in the Community of Christ Church in Bartlett, Tennessee. The family formerly lived in Collierville, Tennessee and Olive Branch, Mississippi.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Laura Alberts; his children, Alexander, Chloe, Joseph, Olivia, and Sophia; and his parents, David and Karen Alberts.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, June 4, at 10:00 am for visitation and 11:00 am for a Memorial Service at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
