Robert Dulik, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in Memphis, TN, at the age of 70. Born on April 6, 1954, in Cleveland, OH, Robert lived a life marked by love, laughter, and an unyielding dedication to his family and community.
For 38 years, Robert devoted himself to his career as a luggage logistics worker for Delta Airlines, earning a reputation for his hard work and reliability. Retirement did not slow him down; rather, it opened up new avenues for his passions. He was known as the quintessential tinkerer, always busy working on small projects, fixing things, and building creations with the kind of expertise that only came from years of experience and a natural gift for mechanics. Alongside his love for restoring old wind-up antiques, he delighted in exploring radio-controlled vehicles, always finding joy and excitement in the simplest of pleasures.
Robert’s personality was a tapestry woven with kindness, humor, and thoughtfulness. He had a unique ability to make those around him smile, often using his quick wit to lighten the mood during gatherings. His caring nature was evident in every interaction; he was a devoted husband to his beloved wife of 51 years, Janet (Cox) Dulik, and a dedicated father to his two children, Rebecca Vail (Kevin) and Russell Dulik. His proudest accomplishments included not just his career but most importantly, being a father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Hannah Cater (Conner), Brianna Meeks (Jordan), Blaine Vail (Gracie), Hunter Garrison, Hayden Stanga, and Abigail Vail, as well as four great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of Robert’s spirit in their hearts, a testament to the loving legacy he leaves behind. He also leaves behind his sister Carolyn Maurer and brother Mark Dulik (Donna), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will forever hold dear the memories of a truly wonderful brother.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Milan and Violet (Bianchi) Dulik, and his brother James Dulik. Their memory will live on through the stories shared and the love that continues to blossom in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
As we gather to remember Robert Dulik, we celebrate a man whose life was a beautiful blend of humor and compassion, craftsmanship and dedication. He created a warm home filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Robert’s journey may have come to an end, but his spirit will forever resonate within the hearts and lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
