Robert Addison Holub, age 80, of Southaven, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born in Rahway, NJ on September 15, 1942 to the late Addison and Bertha (Morowski) Holub.
Robert, known as Uncle Bob to his family, proudly served his country for four years in the United States Marine Corps and retired after another 20+ years in the United States Navy. He also worked as a truck jockey for the USPS. He enjoyed drinking wine while he watched Jeopardy, classic cars and old Ford trucks, antique lamps, woodworking, and he was a proficient artist with drawing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 31 years, Alice Holub, and his beloved fur-baby, Rosie.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Lani Erickson (Kelly), two grandchildren, Michelle and Ella Erickson, sister Florence Danielovits (Anthony), nephews Brian Martinez (Marie), Joey Holub (Diana), and Darren Martinez, and great nephews Tyler and Shane Holub.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 10:00 am. Burial will be private.
