Richard Thomas “Popo” French,
63, went to be with his loved ones inrest with Jesus on April 23, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarenes. Mr. French was a 1973 graduate of Camden Central High School in Camden, TN, was a diesel mechanic for Brown Trucking and Consolidated Freightways, and was owner and operator of Beartail Outfitters. Popo made everyone laugh and was loved by many. He loved big and with all his heart. His wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild were his life. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy French; one son, Chris French and his wife, Shonda; one daughter, Bridgett Loftis; one sister, Phyllis Woodard; six grandchildren, Blake Loftis, Austin Loftis, Kirbey French, Hunter French, Maddie Brassfield, and Gavin Brassfield; and one great grandchild, Adelynn Loftis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Theo French; one sister, Pam Gray; and two brothers-in-law, Lloyd Gray and Wallace Woodard. Visitation will be

until the service begins at
12 p.m.
at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven. Burial will follow in DeSoto Memorial Gardens in Southaven. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
