Raymond I. Bowley, a master electrician and devoted husband, peacefully departed this world on September 8, 2024, at his home in Southaven, Mississippi. Born on January 28, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana, Raymond's life was a remarkable tapestry woven with threads of love, adventure, and skill that will forever echo in the hearts of his family and friends.

A jack of all trades, Raymond's talents were boundless. He was a respected builder who brought dreams to life, working diligently in numerous capacities throughout his career. From being a lineman for the power company to an entrepreneur and a master electrician, Raymond's skilled hands shaped not only structures but also the lives of those around him. He was a great supervisor, always patient and attentive, leading with a genius intellect and a fearless spirit. His adventurous nature guided him in forging paths, whether through challenging projects or thrilling rides at the fair, where he would not hesitate to climb the tallest tower.

Raymond was a dedicated family man, cherishing each moment spent with his beloved spouse, Diane Bowley. He took immense pride in his children, Susan (Kenneth) Gonzales, Sandra Morgan, and Stephanie (Jim) Hinojosa, who were the pride and joy of his life, along with his eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The heart of their family, Raymond's loving presence will be missed beyond measure. He also had a caring stepson, Lowell Evans, who brought yet another dimension of affection into his life.

Among his many accomplishments, Raymond took particular pride in the beautiful patio he built by himself, a testament to his craftsmanship and determination. His ability to build and fix computers for family, friends, and neighbors showcased not only his skills but also his generous spirit, as he often lent a helping hand to those in need.

Raymond's love for life was undeniable; he was known as a daredevil who embodied strength and bravery. His cleverness and attention to detail made him a pillar of support and a source of inspiration for those lucky enough to know him. His adventurous soul led him on travels, creating memories that will be cherished by his family, who hold dear the legacy of his ingenuity and zest for life.

He is survived by his eldest sister, Debbie (Jerry) Stephenson, and siblings Wanita Bowley, Claude (Jacquelyn) Bowley, Jr., and David (Linda) Bowley, as well as his brother Rick (Judy) Bowley, Becky Parks, Laura Wieland. Although he will be deeply missed, Raymond's spirit lives on through the love of the many family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Claude Bowley, Sr., and his sister, Teresa Adcock. As we gather to honor his memory, let us celebrate the extraordinary life he led—full of love, adventure, and countless cherished moments.
