Otis A. Hulsey, Jr.

Otis A. Hulsey, Jr., age 69, of Southaven passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 surrounded by his family in his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Flint, MI on June 8, 1954 to the late Taylor and Gloria Sue (Cordell) Hulsey.

Otis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 12 years, Barbara (Davis) Hulsey and his children Nathan Hulsey (Megan), Alison Hare (Jeremy), Kevin Smith (Natalie), Blake Wilson and Paige Anthony (Dylan). He’ll also be missed by his grandchildren Caden Hulsey, Annaston Hulsey, Julian Richards, Caleb Smith, Aubrey Smith, Hannah Hare, Kale Hare, Gracyn Hare and Tate Hare.

Otis was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend to many. He retired as a supervisor after 38 years from R.J. Reynolds Company. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and building gifts for his loved ones in his workshop.

His family is planning a private, intimate gathering to celebrate his life in the coming weeks.
