, 83, was born January 24, 1934 in Keiser, AR and passed away February 28, 2017 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven. Mrs. Posey was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Sidney Posey; one daughter, Gwen Seaton (Jackie); three sisters, Fannie Cartwright (Bill), Gracie Camp, and Janice McLean (Tony); one sister-in-law, Connie Fox (Johnny); four grandchildren, Tammy Teems (Todd), Misty DeVore, Brandy Cagle (Justin), and John Rhea (Julia); six great grandchildren, Britinni Patterson (Joshua), Kayla Teems, Smokey Maynard, Rustey Maynard, Woodey Maynard, and Sunny Sue Maynard; and three great great grandchildren, Tristen Long, Kyleigh Patterson and Adelynn Patterson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah DeVore and her husband, James and parents, Lawrence T. Cox and Ollie Viola Wallis Cox. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. at Carriage Hills Baptist Church, 8352 Farmington Drive West, Southaven, MS 38671. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
