Miriam K. Wheeler

Miriam Kimbriel Wheeler, age 82, of Byhalia, MS passed away on May 08, 2022. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 12 (Noon) – 2:00pm followed by Funeral Service at 2:00pm, a Graveside Service in her honor will immediately follow. All services will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road East, Southaven, MS, 38671.

Mrs. Wheeler was born on October 25, 1939, in Cumberland, Mississippi to John and Lovie Kimbriel. She was a devoted member of Barton United Methodist & Emory Independent Church. She enjoyed playing Rook and going to gospel singings. Mrs. Wheeler committed 39 years to administration at Sears until her retirement.

Miriam leaves behind her two sons; Tim & Steve Wheeler; five grandchildren; Jeremy & Tyler Kennedy, Christan Cooper, Zachary & Grace Wheeler, and her five Great-Grandchildren; Kayleigh, Kameron, Cayden, Crew, & Carrigan Kennedy.

She is preceded in death by her parents John & Lovie Ruth Kimbriel, loving husband of 42 years Charles L. Wheeler, siblings Dorothy Betts & Thomas “Buddy” Kimbriel and a special friend George Ely Jones.
