Miller Devon Yeager, 80, of Nesbit, MS, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was born on June 27, 1941 in Michigan City, MS to the late Russell and Edna Lois Yeager.
Miller worked as a truck driver for Thurston and Brown Trucking, and he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting, but especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, Miller is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Shirley (Hunter) Yeager, granddaughter Nikki Yeager, and brother Leon Yeager.
Miller will be lovingly remembered by his son Jeff Yeager (Lisa), daughter Tina Smith (Dwayne), grandson Andrew Yeager (fiancé Elena Valencia), granddaughter Jessi Smith, great-grandson Johnluke Thompson, brothers Jim Yeager, Russell Yeager (Terri), and David Yeager, sisters Madeline Church (Wayne) and Louise Johnson, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and several close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road East, Southaven, from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
