Michael “Mike” Linard Wilmath, age 59, passed away on November 5, 2022, at his home in Horn Lake, MS.
Mike was born on February 19, 1963, in Valparaiso, IN to Linard Travis and Sandra Lynn Wilmath . He worked in construction as a glazer and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Nesbit, MS.
Those left to cherish Mike’s memories include his wife of 37 years, Carol, children, Cody and Chase, grandchildren, Brooklynne, Michael, and Autumn. Sister, Susie (Charles) Lynch, and brother, Don Barden. Special friend, Andrew Harris, several nephews and nieces, and his fur-babies, Dolly and Delta.
Michael is preceded in death by his son, Brandon, father, Travis, and stepdad, Bill Barden.
Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a wonderful man and always the first to offer a helping hand, and open his home to anyone that needed a place to stay. He was loved by everyone that met him. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 5:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials are sent to The American Heart Association in Mike’s name.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 5:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm at Twin Oaks Funeral Home 290 Goodman Road E. Southaven, MS, 38671.
