Michael Anthony “Mike” Dollar

Michael Anthony Dollar,

64, of Walls, MS, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born January 8, 1953 to Richard and Nancy Dollar of Center Point, AL.  He married Mary Ann in 2005 and brought together two loving families into one.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Kourtney Dollar, Whitnee Hendon and her husband, Jon, Taylor McElroy and her husband, John, Jenny Caldwell and her husband, Jerry, and Lisa Fisher and her husband, Jeff; 12 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.  Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.  He was an awesome cook and loved to cook for all occasions.  But most of all, he loved spending quality time with his family.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS and Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 12 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, AL.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens.
