Mary Ann was born on August 2, 1942 in West Helena, AR. Maw loved our lord and her family more than anything else. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Braden; her daughters, Donna St. John Thompson and Peggy St. John Williams, Tammie (Matt) Braden Huff, and Carmen Braden Emerson; nephew, Guy (Cindy) Martin; eight grandchildren, Mark, Nikki, Teddy, Samantha, Sean, Tori (Chase), Brandon (Kelsey) and Austin; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Hollie, Mason, Hunter, Dakota, and Brantley; her sister, Peggy Martin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Powers and Lois Tabor; her sister, Billie Bennett; her brother, Jimmy Powers; her sons, Richard and Terry St. John; and her first husband, Halbert L. St. John, Jr.
She will be greatly missed for the unconditional love she gave, the smile that lit up a room, and the hugs that gave comfort and strength.
