Martha Jane Petty

Martha Jane Petty, 71, of Southaven, MS, was born October 22, 1945 in Memphis, TN and passed away June 20, 2017 at her home.  She was a member of Greenbrook Baptist Church in Southaven.  Mrs. Petty loved the great outdoors, fishing, gardening, and Atlanta Braves baseball.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Petty of Southaven; two daughters, Joyce Slais and her husband, Joe and Wanda Elmore, all of Horn Lake, MS; one sister, Mary Reeves of Southaven; four grandchildren, Brittany Graves and her husband, John, Bradley Slais, Melissa Johnson, and Josh Elmore; and seven great grandchildren, Nathan Graves, Mason Graves, Rilan Graves, Brayson Slais, Kaitlin Gray, Kaleb Gray, and Kaylix Green.  Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 12 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.  Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.  The family requests that any memorials be made to Greenbrook Baptist Church.
