Mrs. Deaton was a member of Maples Memorial United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS. She is survived by her son, Mike Deaton of Southaven; two brothers, James Marion and Carl Marion of Texas; one sister, Peggy Blacketer of Tyler, TX; two grandchildren, Tori Deaton Farmer (John) and Michael Deaton; six great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Boston, Bristol, Bronx, Ainsley, and Hunter; honorary daughter, Patricia Blacketer Childers; and her faithful companion, Bandit. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hershel Deaton and parents, Bratton and Maude Shoulders. Visitation will be
