Loyd Wayne Rodgers, 88, of Hernando, MS passed peacefully on September 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Geraldine Rodgers and his beloved dog Jerry. Also, his brothers Elbert Rodgers, Jr, Kennith Rodgers, Jerry Rodgers, and sister Barbara Purdon.
He was a simple man and an avid animal lover. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with friends.
Mr. Rodgers leaves to mourn his passing: daughters, Brenda Tutor (Gregg), Sandra Powell (Randy), grandchildren, Ethan Powell, Jacob Powell, Austin Powell, Lucas Powell, Austin D Powell, Nik Tutor, Justin Tutor, and Will Tutor, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Sheila Pollan (Tom) of Longtown, MS, and special friends Thomas and Pam Carr.
