Linda Sue Dexter Reeves, fondly remembered by family and friends as a and dedicated individual, passed away on May 7, 2024, in Memphis, TN. She was born on March 12, 1947, in East Port, MS.
In her career, Linda worked for Kemmons Wilson, the founder of Holiday Inn, for ten years as a payroll manager. Her work ethic and commitment left a lasting impact on all those she encountered.
Linda's warm personality and love for connecting with others shone brightly throughout her life. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart, bringing her immense joy and fulfillment.
Aside from her professional endeavors, Linda had a passion for crocheting. She found great pleasure in creating beautiful pieces to share with her loved ones, showcasing her generous spirit and talent.
Linda Sue Dexter Reeves is survived by her beloved husband, Barry Reeves; three children: Greg Coleman, Kaye Coleman Sanders, and John Dexter Coleman (Amy); sister Clara Berryman; brother Bobby Dexter; grandchildren: Paige (Sanders) Cox, Will Coleman, Mary Leigh Coleman, Sarah (Coleman) Ruston, and Emily (Coleman) Montgomery; great-grandchildren Emma Cox and Hayden Cox. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, seven siblings and numerous other relatives.
Services to honor and celebrate Linda's life will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven on May 10, 2024. A visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The burial ceremony will commence at 4:00 PM.
Linda touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and creativity. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
