On July 15, 2024, the world lost a remarkable soul as Larry Daniel Keath bid farewell to this life in Lake Cormorant. Born on October 19, 1942, in Clarksdale, MS, Larry lived a life rich in love, kindness, and service to others.
Larry's journey on this earth was defined by his unwavering dedication to helping those around him. He served his country as a proud member of the United States Army before going on to establish and lead the Farm and Industrial Supply Company (FISCO) for an astounding 38 years. His entrepreneurial spirit and hard work transformed FISCO from humble beginnings into a nationally recognized entity—a testament to his vision and perseverance.
Beyond the warehouse, Larry was known for his exceptional skills on the grill, creating mouthwatering BBQ delights that brought joy to countless gatherings. His "Larry-isms" added a touch of humor and wisdom to every conversation, reflecting his unique personality that was filled with love and compassion. A devout Christian, Larry's faith was not just a part of his life but a guiding light that illuminated every interaction he had with others.
In addition to his professional accomplishments and vibrant personality, Larry had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether he was fishing by the lake, hunting in the woods, or tinkering with machinery, he found solace and joy in nature's embrace. His ability to fix anything spoke volumes about his practical skills and determination—a trait that endeared him to many.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ann Marie (McLaughlin) Keath; loving daughter Susan Von Boeckman (David); cherished grandchildren Logan Powers, Landon Powers, Callista Powers; and adored great-grandchildren Avery Powers and Sofia Powers.
