Kyla Christine Griffith

March 28, 1990 — January 1, 2025

Longmont, CO

Kyla Christine Griffith, known affectionately to her family and friends as "Kyla Boo," was born on March 28, 1990, in Memphis and passed away on January 1, 2025, in Colorado after a long illness. Her vibrant spirit, loving nature, and strong-willed personality touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kyla's life was marked by her profound dedication to her passions and the people she loved. Her career in teaching dance, alongside her beloved Aunt Sandy Griffith Ash in Southaven, MS, showcased her talent and commitment to sharing the joy of movement. She found pride in helping her aunt and was equally proud of her decision to embrace life in Colorado, a place that would become cherished in her heart.

From a young age, Kyla created lasting memories that would shape her into the person everyone adored. One particularly vivid memory she cherished was from when she first visited Colorado, joyfully walking down Main Street in her boots at just two years old. She held onto that spirit of adventure throughout her life, indulging her love for the outdoors by walking her dog, Piddle, and enjoying boating and knee boarding. Concerts with her companion, Ryan Johnson, further enriched her experiences, creating memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those she shared them with.

Kyla was a devoted daughter to her father, Robert Griffith, and her brother, Josh Griffith. Her bond with her family was profound, extending to her beloved Grandaddy Griffith and Meemaw Quesnel and cousins, a host of friends, and so many others who filled her life with love. She was predeceased by her mother, Marty Griffith, as well as her Grandmother, Mom Griffith, and Grandfather, Peepaw Quesnel. Their memories will forever remain entwined with hers, as she carried their love through her various journeys.

In honoring her life, a visitation will be held on March 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Here, friends and family can gather to celebrate the vibrant, thoughtful, and incredibly loyal person that Kyla was, reflecting on her many accomplishments and the love she shared throughout her remarkable life.

Kyla Christine Griffith will remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her story may have concluded too soon, but her legacy, marked by love, strength, and unwavering devotion, will continue to inspire all who carry her memory forward.
