Justin Lee Segerson, affectionately known to all as "Lunchbox," entered this world on December 27, 1983, in Memphis, Tennessee. He filled the hearts of those around him with laughter and joy before joining his brother and grandparents in eternity on January 31, 2025, in his beloved hometown.
Justin's vibrant spirit started to flourish at a young age as he spent countless hours at the ballfield, nurturing a deep love for baseball that would remain a constant in his life. Playing from the age of nine until he was 19, these formative years crafted a foundation of memories filled with teamwork, competition, and the thrill of the game. His childhood passion for baseball mirrored his personality: energetic, playful, and unapologetically loud, just like the joyous shouts echoing across the field.
Justin brought his contagious enthusiasm to every aspect of his life, especially when shooting pool and watching the Cowboys and Cardinals play. He could light up any room, effortlessly bringing people together with his humor, making friendships wherever he went. His friends often remarked that they had never met anyone quite like him; he was the life of the party and the kind of person who would stop to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Above all, Justin cherished his family. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Melissa Ragland (Frank Burrows), and father, Jeff Segerson (Renee). His presence will be deeply missed by his sisters, Sherry Segerson (Maurice Huddleston) and Kimberly Segerson, as well as his five step-sisters: Bridgette Ragland Hale, Candice Goudy, Tina Roeland, Kelly Walker, and Jenny Walker, and step-brother Christopher Goudy. Justin took immense pride in being a father to his two beautiful children, Hailey Skelton and Tyler Segerson, along with their mother Tiffany Ewing. Additionally, he shared an undeniable bond with his three bonus children, Whittney Ewing, Bentley Ewing, and Justin Wells (mother Rachelle Logston, who is also Justin's girlfriend). Their laughter filled his heart, adding layers of joy and purpose to his life.
Justin's legacy is also embraced by many nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family, all of whom will forever hold onto the joyful memories created with him. He is preceded in death by his brother Steven Segerson and his beloved grandparents: Albert and Gloria Scipper, Gerald and Billie Segerson, and grandfather Eddie Price.
