Judy Ann Norys, 65, of Hernando, MS, passed away on January 16, 2018. She was born April 28, 1952 in Lula, MS to John Henry Sr. and Ethel Henry. She was a homemaker, who loved and cherished being able to take care of her family. In her spare time, she wrote many poems and had several of them published. She wrote her first poem titled “Justin’s Heart”, in 1990 in honor of her late son. For Judy, writing poetry was a therapeutic escape. It helped her mend a broken heart, as well as keep her treasured memories alive.
Judy is survived by her husband, Barney Norys Sr.; two sons, Barney Norys Jr., Edward Norys and his wife Heather; two daughters, Jenny Riley and her husband Chad, Anna Green and her husband Bill; former daughter-in-law, Monica Piper; five brothers; four sisters; four granddaughters, Sara Pace and her husband Ben, Rachel Norys, Liana Norys, and Dakota Green; two grandsons, Jacob Norys, and Matthew Norys. Judy was also anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations and memorials in honor of Judy Ann Norys, be made to the American Heart Association (5384 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
Services are set for Saturday, January 20, 2018. Visitation starts at 11:00 A.M. and the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Twin Oaks Funeral Home Chapel,
