John Russell Simpson, age 62, passed away on November 26, 2021, in Southaven, MS. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm with burial to follow. All services will be at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.

Mr. Simpson was born on July 3, 1959, in Memphis, TN to Ernest and Gloria Simpson. He worked in a factory for a printing plant.

John leaves behind his wife, Anita Simpson; children, Brandon M. Simpson, John J. Davis, Michael J. Davis, Christopher J. Ruiz, Brittiany T. Davis, John Simpson, Jr., Charles T. Simpson, Colton E. Simpson, and Casey G. Simpson; son-in-law, Adam Fiore; parents, Ernest and Gloria Simpson; brother, Rick Simpson; sister, Shelli Shackelford; two aunts; two uncles; one niece; and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ciara A. Simpson; son, Joe H. Davis, III; and Nanny, Frances Simpson Wright.
