Joann Force

Joann M. Force, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at her home in Coldwater, MS. Mrs. Force was born on June 14, 1939 in Memphis, TN to the late Virginia Ruth Logan. She was a member of Peabody Baptist Church in Memphis, TN, and retired from the Southaven Chamber of Commerce. She loved spending time with her family, thrift store shopping and growing beautiful roses. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, James T. (Jim) Force. She is survived by her four sons: Danny (Trish) Thomas of Memphis, TN, Jeff (Maria) Thomas of Southaven, MS, Jason (T.C.) Thomas of Coldwater, MS, and Don (Emily) Barr of Horn Lake, MS; twelve grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Madison, Amberly, Ericka, Amanda Brooke, Skeet, Amanda, Steven, Monica, Nick, and Haley; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister, Cathy Rea of Pensacola, FL. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 20th from 9am until the service begins at 10am at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
