Jason Daniel Luttrell, 40, of Southaven, MS, passed away on August 10, 2018 at Baptist-Desoto in Southaven. He was born on February 08, 1978 in Florence, Alabama to the late Dan Luttrell and Jan Jones Luttrell.
Jason was the lead singer of the nu metal band, Primer 55 from 1997-2002. He was an original vocalist and songwriter. He loved music with a passion. His daughter, Christie, was his pride and joy. Jason enjoyed rainy days because it reminded him of when he and his daughter would dance in the rain together when she was younger. Jason was not only a talented musician, but he also liked to draw. In his younger days, he played football.
Jason is survived by his wife, Kimberly Booth Luttrell of Whitewater, Wisconsin; one daughter, Christie Luttrell of Seattle, Washington; a cousin, Cristen Adkins of Southaven, MS; and one brother, Brian Luttrell (Jenice) of Southaven, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Burlin and Artie Jones, and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Evelyn Luttrell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Minglewood Hall (1555 Madison Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104).
