Janie Asiline Jackson Knight

Janie Asiline Jackson Knight, age 86, of Southaven, ran into the arms of Jesus on Monday, May 8, 2023. She was born in McAdams, MS on November 10, 1936 to the late Joseph Harvey and Maudie Louise (Seawright) Jackson.
Janie was a Registered Nurse and prior to her retirement she had worked for the DeSoto County schools and at Southaven Healthcare. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and traveling with her husband.
In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Shelby L. Knight, Sr., and sisters Lorena Ballard and JoAnne Gwin.
Janie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Shelby L. Knight, Jr. (Shana Blakely), daughter Angela Graves (Joey), grandchildren Stephen Knight, Jody Phillips (Brittany), Stacy Knight, Abby Clark, Tiffany Faulkner (Jason), Jackie Aycock (Robert), and Joseph Graves, great-grandchildren Bradley, Jackson, Azlynn, Brody, Braxton, Asher, Beckett, Avery, Aubrey, Finley Jo, Ava Caroline, Redding, Blakeleigh, and Ryder, and her sister, Elsie Mae Norgard (John) of Loxley, AL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
