Jamie Juanita Clayton
, 93, was born June 18, 1923 in New Albany, MS and passed away May 18, 2017 at her home. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Clayton Holden of Memphis, TN and Beverly Clayton Benton of Ripley, MS; one son, Donnie Clayton and his wife, Delores of Southaven, MS; eight grandchildren, Cheryl Sisemore of St. Louis, MO, Ron Holden of Jacksonville, FL, Ken Holden of Senatobia, MS, Mary Holden of Memphis, TN, Melanie Anderson of New Albany, Brad Clayton of New Albany, Brian Ketchum of Ripley, and Rusty Ketchum of Ripley; 15 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two brothers, Homer Huffstatler of Southaven, and Jim “Sonny” Huffstatler of Southaven; two sisters, Betty Jo Cobb of Ingomar, MS, and Laverne Evans of Southaven; and many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Clayton; mother, Thella Rakestraw Huffstatler; father, Arthur Huffstatler; one brother, Billy Huffstatler; and three sisters, Frances Berryhill, Sybil Caldwell, and Martha Wilder. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with Bro. Micah Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in New Albany.
