Grady Olen Westbrook, Sr., 84, of Hernando, MS, was born May 28, 1933 in Tippo, MS and passed away July 14, 2017 at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ella Alice Haney Westbrook; one daughter, Sandra Henderson and her husband, Greg; one son, Grady Olen Westbrook, Jr. and his wife, Sherry; one brother, Bud Westbrook and his wife, Betty; two sisters, Myrtis Pearson and her husband, Paul and Wilma Brown; three grandchildren, Karry Westbrook Gardner, Terry Henderson, and Brent Henderson; four great grandchildren, John Thomas (Tommy) Erwin, Austyn Erwin, Alyssa Gardner, and Maleia Gardner; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Maggie Westbrook; one brother, Ferman Westbrook and his wife, Wanda; one sister, Nora Johnson; and one granddaughter, Hannah Henderson.
Grady retired after 27 years as a Boiler and Chiller Operator in the Physical Plant and Planning at Memphis State University. Grady loved his family deeply and he had a heart of gold.
Family and friends sharing fond and precious memories of Grady are invited to attend visitation services on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the funeral services begin at 12 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
