Gloria Jean Scipper, 76, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 in her home peacefully in Southaven, Mississippi. Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
Gloria Jean Scipper was born on November 27, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee. Some of her favorite past times were going to car port sales and watching old movies. One could have found Gloria, if not at the latest sale, with her grandchildren or with the rest of her family. She was such a loving mother, grandmother, and friend anyone could have known. She will be truly missed by her loving hugs and bright smile.
She leaves behind her daughter, Melissa Ragland (Frank); son-in-law, Phill Maness; grandchildren, Sherry Denise Segerson, Justin Lee Segerson, Daniel Scipper, Phill Shayne (Stephanie) Maness, Hunter Lee Maness, Tabitha Jean Maness (Robert), Ethan Brent Maness (Brittany), and Brigette Ragland; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and 3 nieces Barbie, Debbie and Shannon; nephews, Michael Shayne, Dean, David, and Robbie; brother, Robert Merlin Wiles (Beth); and many great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Albert Lee Scipper, Jr.; daughter, Barbara Jean Scipper Maness, grandson, Steven Allen Segerson; brother, Michael Wiles; and parents, Merlin and Ersel Jannette Wiles.Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671).
