GERARD J. “JERRY” AUBUCHON,

passed away

Friday

evening, October 16, 2015 at his home in Southaven, Mississippi.  Jerry was born and raised in Bonne Terre, MO and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO.  During the Korean Campaign, Jerry enlisted in the United States Air Force and served at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.  After college graduation, he went to work for the Fulmer Companies in Memphis, TN and retired from there after 50 years of service.  Jerry is predeceased by a daughter, Valerie; his parents, Edwin and Anna AuBuchon; and three brothers.  Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Willadean; his children, Thad AuBuchon of Hernando, MS, Tanya AuBuchon Hall (Brad) of Cordova, TN, and Tracy AuBuchon (Linda) of West Memphis, AR; three grandchildren, Stuart Swift (Angela) of San Diego, CA, Carol AuBuchon of Memphis, and Hailey Swift of Cordova; his sister, Theresa Hamblen of Cordova; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be

until the service begins at

10 a.m.

at DeSoto Hills Baptist Church, 4680 Getwell Road, Southaven, MS.  There will be a private burial, with military honors, at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in his name to DeSoto Hills Baptist Church Building Fund or the donor’s choice of charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
