Faye Hardy Woods

Faye Hardy Woods, 76, passed peacefully on March 7, 2020 in Southaven, MS. Family will be receiving friends Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. also at Twin Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. Twin Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Faye was born in Albany, GE on February 5, 1944. Faye enjoyed many things in life, some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, sewing, painting, cooking, and reading. She was a wonderful caretaker and devoted her life to her family. Most people can say she was a strong woman and a fighter until the end. One thing about Faye is that she always kept herself up no matter what life difficulties came towards her. She always looked her best no matter where she went. Most of all Faye loved her family. Her unconditional love and support she gave will be missed by many.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ceba Wilson Woods, Jr.; children, Richard Allen Woods, Janet Woods Cotham (Marcus), Jack Gregory Woods (Cindy); grandchildren, Saten Busby Woods, Brittney Dalenite (Chance), Shelby Woods, “Little” Ricky Woods (Cori Judkins), Jeannie Faye Woods, Tyler Cotham, and Macie Cotham; great grandchildren, Zayden Hammond, Waylon Hammond, Sawyer Woods; and sister, Debbie Sue Franks.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Hardy and Fronie Gandy Fields; brother, Kevin Fields; and grandmother, Ila Belle Williams Gandy “Granny”.
