Eileen Williams, a beloved soul who graced this world with her feisty and independent spirit, passed away on July 19, 2024 in Bartlett, TN. She was born on March 20, 1932, in Detroit, MI.

Eileen dedicated many years of her life working as a secretary Schering-Plough and later as a corporate secretary for Holiday Inn. Her dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those around her.

Those knew Eileen will remember her for the joy she found in the simple moments of life. She cherished hosting Christmas gatherings at her home, playing double solitaire, indulging in creamsicles with her beloved grandchildren, and bidding farewell with her signature "batman eyes."

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Eileen's true pride and joy came from being a mother to her daughter Pamela Hurst (Tommy) and son Ron Williams (Kathy). She found immense happiness in her role as a grandmother to Melanie Vaughn (Mitchell), William Rice (Kimberly), Drew Williams (Meg), Lauren Webb (Tyler), Daniel Rice, Anna Pickle (Ross), Pierce Hurst, and great-grandmother to Abe Williams, Anderson Williams, Luke Vaughn, Margaret and Charlotte Pickle.

Eileen's zest for life extended beyond the workplace and family life. She found solace in her faith and enjoyed playing bridge, tending to her garden, spending quality time with loved ones at sports events with her grandchildren, hitting the golf course, and indulging in retail therapy during shopping trips, was a member of First United Methodist Church in Memphis, helping out at her church with feeding the needy at Thanksgiving as well as various other ministries.

In the hearts of those she leaves behind forever are fond memories of Eileen's unwavering love and dedication. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Hurst; son Ron Williams; grandchildren Melanie Vaughn, William Rice, Drew Williams Lauren Webb; Daniel Rice; Anna Pickle; Pierce Hurst; great-grandchildren Abe and Anderson Williams, Luke Vaughn, Margaret and Charlotte Pickle.

Eileen now reunites with her beloved husband Richard Williams, sister Joyce McHenry, sister-in-law Marilyn Williams, brother-in-law Robert Williams, as well as parents Marvin and Peggy (Smythe) Schade.

May she find eternal peace knowing that her legacy of love and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
