Duane Henry Schell, age 70, passed away on November 20, 2021, at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, TN. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Gracewood Baptist Church, 8551 Getwell Rd., Southaven Ms 38672.
Mr. Schell was born on September 7, 1951 to Henry Schell and Erma Jean Gregg Schell He was raised on a farm in Montana, played high school football, and was a member of the FFA. He served in the US Army and Navy, including time in Korea.
Duane was a very kind and thoughtful person. He had a good sense of humor, a soft heart, and loved his dog, Memphis. He was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church, and was also a wonderful husband and father.
His survivors include: his wife of 39 years, Gwylda Schell; four children, Susie, Jimmy, Mary, Tammy; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Roger, Arleen, Shirley, Gary, Diane, Peggy.A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Gracewood Baptist Church, 8551 Getwell Rd., Southaven Ms 38672.
