DOUGLAS MCGREW WHITE,
55, was born March 6, 1960 in Tupelo, MS to the late Jackie Wayne and Paula Joan McGrew White. Mr. White passed away February 4, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS. He was a 1978 graduate of Highway Baptist Academy in Southaven, a lifelong Alabama football fan, bass fisherman, and golfer extraordinaire. Doug was a career general manager in hotels and casinos in over 14 states. He is survived by his son, Andrew White of Yazoo City, MS; brother, Duffy White and his wife, Tricia Hannigan of Galatin, TN; and nieces and nephews, Kathleen White, Rory White, and Michael Pluta. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the John Wayne Cancer Institute, 2200 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404.
