Devon Lee Tipton

Devon Lee Tipton, 24, resident of Jonesboro, died Monday, May 10, 2021. Family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 6:00 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home (290 Goodman Road East Southaven, MS 38671). Pastor O.C. Howell will be officiating.

He was born in Springfield on September 28, 1996, to David Lee and Lisa Marie Tipton. A Graduate from Jonesboro High School. Devon was extremely funny, with a gigantic personality, and huge smile. He loved being with family and friends. Devon never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back if ask. He loved Basketball, his team was the LA Lakers.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Cheryle Irby and Dorena Tipton.

Devon had a very large blended family. Survivors include his mother, Lisa Tipton of Jonesboro; father, David Tipton and wife, Carrie; brothers, Noah Thompson of Jonesboro; Devin Holcomb of Southaven, Mississippi; Christian Fish of Jonesboro; sisters, Serenity Faith Marie Payton of Jonesboro; Deondrea Derrick Tipton, of Texas; and grandfather, Rickey Perry of Jonesboro; Phillip Scott of Ash Flat; Donald Denison of Hawaii; Grandmother Kathy Brown of Hardy; Great-grandmother Margaret Hancock of Jonesboro; and Great – Aunts Paula Hancock of Jonesboro.

He leaves a behind a great deal of other family, friends, and co-workers that truly loved him.
