Delois Jane Richardson

Delois Jane Richardson, age 78, of Mount Juliet, TN and formerly of Southaven, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Richardson residence in Mount Juliet, TN. She was born on July 1, 1945 to the late Erie V. and Annie Mae (Wright) Brewer.
Delois worked as a registered nurse and a case manager at Baptist DeSoto Hospital for over 40 years, and was a past member of Broadway Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting and reading, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Delois is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jerry Richardson, and brothers Billy Brewer and Jimmy Brewer.
Delois will be lovingly remembered by her son, Brian Richardson (Jessica), grandchildren Amberly Rankin, Ethan West, Joshua West, Kylie Richardson, and Alannah Richardson, great-grandson Max Gwinn, and sisters Debbie Johnson and Missy Brewer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Twin Oaks Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
