Chris loved spending time with his family and coaching his kids in rec baseball and football.
He is survived by his parents Mr. Ken and Mrs. Shelby Smith; and mother, Joan Claunch.
Other survivors include his wife of 21 years Mrs. Kathy Smith, four children; Hannah D. Smith, Colton Smith, Clayton Smith, and Kennon Smith, a granddaughter, Callie Holmes, siblings Steve Hooten, Leoná Anderson, Kim Hooten Walker, Gary D Hooten, Jerry Hooten, Cheryl Hooten Fair, and Traci Leigh Smith, and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.The family will receive friends Monday, November 18th, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
