Billie Jean Johnson

Billie Jean Johnson, age 87, passed away June 22, 2022, in Southaven, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service in her honor at 1:00pm at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 290 Goodman Road E., Southaven, Mississippi, 38671. A Graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2545 E. Holmes Road, Memphis, TN, 38118, immediately following the funeral service at 2:30pm.

Mrs. Johnson was born on November 17, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee to Hewlett and Julia Spires. She was a devoted Christian of the Baptist faith. Billie worked very hard as a waitress and housewife while dedicating herself to raising five great children.

Mrs. Johnson leaves behind her four children; Hewlett Wayne Little, Debrarh Lynn Timbs(Steve), James Michael Abston(Cathy), Mark Kevin Abston(Christy), Seven Grandchildren , Four Great-Grandchildren, & Three Great Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of many years John Thomas Johnson, Parents; Hewlett and Julia Spires, Son; Gary Earl Abston, Brother; Hewlett Oliver Spires Jr. and Four Grandchildren.
