William Allen Ham was born at home in Devalls Bluff, AR on August 19, 1939 to John and Willie Belle Ham. He passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, TN. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fay; and two daughters, Callie (David) and Wendy (Kenneth). He had three granddaughters, Savannah, Audrey, and Adrian.
He attended Parkers Chapel School in El Dorado, AR and graduated from Southern Arkansas University with a Master’s Degree in Accounting. He worked for International Harvester, was president of Memphis Ford Tractor, and later on in life became a stock broker for Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter. In 2014 he completed the Memphis St. Jude Half Marathon at the age of 75. He enjoyed politics, working on cars, and socializing with his many friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 1-3 pm at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven with a graveside service to follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Palmer Home.Visitation:
