Betty Jean Harris, age 88, passed away on January 18, 2022, in Oxford, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm, at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS.
Mrs. Harris was born on August, 5, 1933, in Humboldt, Tennessee to William Eugene Laster and Myrtle Estella Parrish. She loved reading, sewing, watching old country & western shows, and was a very good cook.
Betty leaves behind her children, David Micheal Harris (Valerie), Gerald Wayne (Denise), Dennis Darryl (Robin), William Barry (Cathleen); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jane.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Harris; siblings, Margie, Bobby, Nell, Billy.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Arthritis Foundation.
